The naughty list takes on a whole different meaning here. Borrows from German folklore which says Krampus accompanies Santa in order to punish bad children with birch rods. Or worse. A really fun monster flick with recognised cast. To make it even better, just google "Krampus Run" and see how Germans are keeping this tradition alive. Better watch out, better not cry...

Trivia: Krampus is a huge part of Austrian and German folklore. In Austria and southern Germany, they have "Krampus Runs" where grown-up men dress up as Krampuses and parade through the city streets and scare children.
Plot:
When his dysfunctional family clashes over the holidays, young Max (Emjay Anthony) gets disillusioned and turns his back on Christmas. Meanwhile, this lack of festive spirit unleashes the wrath of Krampus: a demonic force of ancient evil intent on punishing non-believers. All hell breaks loose as beloved holiday icons take on a monstrous life of their own, laying siege to the fractured family's home and forcing them to fight for one another if they hope to survive.
